INTRODUCTION

Herewith the company wishes to display a code of principles that inspire its business activity, and which all employees and freelancers are expected to stick to when undertaking their own tasks.

The people working for our company all agree on the importance of carrying on the business in an honest way, because ethics and integrity have always been the core of our modus operandi.

This Code of Ethics stands for the company’s commitment to work in order to establish genuine and reliable relations.

Everyone, from the executives to all the employees, from franchisees to freelancers, is expected to stick to the principles regulating our trade operations. Our Code of Ethics contains regulations concerned with individual responsibilities, and the responsibilities to take into account when dealing with employees, customers, suppliers and others.

Example is the best guidance, and this is why the Limpo project managers strive to make sure that any of the rules mentioned here is obeyed in full.


THE COMPANY’S COMMITMENT

The Company’s management will make sure the contents listed in this Code are observed in any activities. They will work in full observance of this set of values and principles, for the purpose of making everyone feel comfortable in the group.

The managers will strive to increase the enterprise’s economic value by means of policies in accordance to this Code and specifically designed to reinforce the Company’s confidence and credibility.

The Company will see to spread the Code to its employees and is ready to provide clarifications about the interpretation of the rules and regulations here mentioned.

LIMPO will also check on the strict application of these principles, and impose sanctions in case of infringement.

The Management is responsible for the selection of employees, franchisees and freelancers. Such a task will be undertaken carefully so as to avoid involving people who might disregard the rules listed in this Code.

Furthermore, the Company will grant everyone the same professional and growth opportunities. LIMPO’s criteria will be based on one’s merits, with no discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, language, personal and social status, political and religious creed.

The Company is ready to grant comfortable working conditions, and safeguard its employees’ physical and psychological integrity and personality.


EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES’ DUTIES

Employees and franchisees have to obey the current regulations of their countries, and have to be aware of the principles of the Code so as to be able to put them into practice and report any infringement to the Company.

Employees and affiliates therefore will have to refrain from acting against the rules of the Code, and will have to act in a transparent, fair and legal way.

Every employee or franchisee has to work in order to meet the company’s expectations, depending on their responsibilities, and act in the pursuit of safeguarding the company’s prestigious reputation.

Relations between employees and franchisees have to be based on fairness, loyalty and mutual respect.

Employees and franchisees are also supposed to use carefully the means provided by the Company: equipment, cars, tools, pc, printers, telephones, fax machines, e-mail box, Internet connection, database and the like. Employees and franchisees are expected to use such supplies only for professional purposes. It is strictly forbidden to use the company’s equipment for private purposes or activities that are might be in competition with LIMPO itself.

Employees and franchisees are expected to avoid any situation or action that might clash against the Company’s interests. Conflict of interests is caused by any working activity carried out with clients, suppliers or subject competing with the Company itself.


CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

Employees and franchisees are bound to the utmost secrecy as to information regarding the Company and/or procedures they are aware of thanks to their working activity.

Such is intended to avoid any leakage of information concerned with the business organization, the methods of production and any other details whose disclosure might cause harm to the Company. Employees and franchisees are also expected to report to their bosses any request for information regarding the Company they are submitted during their working activity, in order to avoid providing replies before being authorized.

Employees and franchisees are requested to process any data they deal with only for purposes strictly connected to their professional functions. It is possible to provide information through the means of communication supplied only subject to agreement with LIMPO.

However, employees and franchisees are requested to safeguard the Company’s name and prestige, when they get in contact with the press and other media.


BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS

The company is willing to carry out transparent, honest and fair transactions with its competitors in any situation.

Employees and franchisees are expected to follow the regulations stated in the Code of Ethics when doing business with privates or with the public administration. It is forbidden to pay sums of money or give presents in exchange for favours or other privileges.

The Company is ready to grant its subjects a fair growth possibility, so as to dissuade anyone from resorting to illegal or unethical strategies.


RELATIONS WITH THIRD PARTIES (SUPPLIERS, CONSUMERS, BUSINESS PARTNERS, FREELANCERS)

The Company, in the pursuit of its own development through offering high quality products and services, also owes its success to the consumers’ enthusiastic appraisals of its work.

Therefore, it strives to maintain relations with third parties based on loyalty and efficiency, and to grant its commitment to deal only with products that are not harmful to people’s health and are respectful of the environment.

Its law-abiding conduct is displayed in the management’s intention not to exploit the manpower, and its being strongly sided against child labour.

It is also requested to establish relations with clients based on transparency by providing them with all the necessary details and information about products and services, so that they can make decisions in full awareness.

The Company will be truthful in its commercial advertisement and other forms of communication.


HEALTH AND SAFETY

The running of the business hinges upon environmental preservation and efficiency criteria, in the pursuit of improving health and safety working conditions.

Any subject involved in the Company’s activities will therefore have to obey the current regulations about health and safety on the job.
